1. About this service

Ginie Health is a consumer health platform operated by Gini Care Inc., a corporation registered in British Columbia, Canada. We connect individuals with specialist physicians based in India for the purpose of obtaining written clinical opinions, second opinions, and medical guidance.

Ginie Health is powered by Gini Advanced Care Hospital, Mohali, Punjab, India — an NABH-accredited hospital with over 30 years of combined specialist experience.

2. What this service is — and is not

This service is:

• A platform for obtaining written clinical opinions from international specialists
• A second-opinion and care navigation service
• An educational resource to help you understand your health situation and navigate your local healthcare system
• A way to identify which tests to request, which questions to ask, and what to discuss with your Canadian physician

This service is not:

• A Canadian medical practice or licensed Canadian healthcare provider
• A replacement for your family doctor, specialist, or any local medical care
• An emergency service or crisis intervention platform
• A platform for issuing Canadian prescriptions or ordering Canadian laboratory tests directly
• A platform that establishes a Canadian doctor-patient relationship

3. Our specialists

All specialists who provide opinions through Ginie Health are fully credentialed physicians registered and licensed in India. They hold qualifications from leading Indian medical institutions including PGIMER Chandigarh, AIIMS, and equivalent institutions. They do not hold Canadian medical licensure and are not registered with any Canadian provincial medical regulatory authority.

Opinions provided through this platform are for educational and informational purposes only. They do not constitute a Canadian medical diagnosis, treatment plan, or prescription.

4. Your responsibilities

By using Ginie Health you agree to:

• Share accurate and complete information about your health concern, medications, and medical history
• Use the specialist opinion as educational input and share it with your Canadian physician or healthcare provider for local clinical execution
• Not use this platform for emergency medical situations
• Not rely solely on the opinion provided here as the basis for significant medical decisions without consulting a locally licensed physician
• Be at least 18 years of age, or have parental or guardian consent if submitting on behalf of a minor

5. Payment and refunds

Written specialist opinions are priced at CAD $45 per consultation. Video consultations are priced at CAD $75 per session. Prices are in Canadian dollars and are subject to change with notice.

Payment is collected after case submission via a secure payment link sent to your email and WhatsApp. We accept major credit cards and debit cards.

Refund policy:

• Full refund if your written opinion is not delivered within 24 hours of payment confirmation
• Full refund if your video consultation is not scheduled within 24 hours of payment confirmation
• No refund once the opinion or consultation has been delivered
• Refund requests must be submitted to hello@giniehealth.com within 48 hours of the scheduled delivery time

6. Privacy and data

Your personal health information is handled in accordance with our Calculators Privacy Policy and in compliance with the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and the British Columbia Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA). All health data is stored on encrypted Canadian servers (AWS ca-central-1, Montreal).

7. Ginie AI

Ginie is an artificial intelligence assistant powered by a third-party large language model API. Ginie is designed to help you understand general health information, navigate the intake process, and identify which specialist may be appropriate for your concern. Ginie is not a physician, does not provide medical diagnoses, and its responses should not be treated as medical advice. All clinical opinions are prepared by human specialist physicians.

8. Limitation of liability

Gini Care Inc. and Ginie Health provide this service on an "as is" basis for educational and informational purposes. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Gini Care Inc. shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of this platform or reliance on any opinion provided through it.

You acknowledge that specialist opinions provided through this platform are intended to supplement, not replace, the advice of locally licensed physicians, and that all clinical decisions affecting your health should be made in consultation with a qualified local healthcare provider.

9. Intellectual property

All content on this platform — including written opinions delivered to you — is provided for your personal use only. You may share your opinion with your Canadian physician. You may not reproduce, publish, or distribute the content of this platform or your clinical opinion for commercial purposes without written consent from Gini Care Inc.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising from your use of this service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of British Columbia.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users or via a notice on this website. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
